In a light brown cast, ash shows a pale, even grain, with clear movement board to board. Its 36 mm wear layer means it can be sanded back and refinished years down the line. At 2.2 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Ash Living is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
