Ash Sandvig Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth ash shows a clean, bright figure in a white tone, with clear movement board to board. Sanded flat, the surface has nothing to catch underfoot. A protective matt lacquer means the seal takes the brunt of daily traffic, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.3 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. Tough enough to shrug off chair legs and dropped pans. On balance, a sensible floor built for everyday use.

Installation Advice
Ash Sandvig is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
