Oak carries an open, flowing grain in a beige cast, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A clear, sealed finish means it stands up to heavy footfall. A herringbone pattern draws the eye and works in both period and modern rooms. It suits busy kitchens and hallways, and it can go down over underfloor heating. It's an easy fit for busy kitchens and hallways and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Pure Light Oak Extra Matt is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
