Sunrise Oak Extra Matt - Cala Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Oak has an open, flowing grain, a soft natural, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. A clear, sealed finish means it stands up to heavy footfall. At 2.2 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. It works well in busy kitchens and hallways, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating.

Installation Advice
Sunrise Oak Extra Matt - Cala is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
