Beech Rustikal Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Beech has a fine, even grain, a soft light brown, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and the 25 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.2 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. On balance, a sensible floor built for everyday use.

Installation Advice
Beech Rustikal is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
