3-Strip 14 mm Beech Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level beech has a fine, even grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Sanded flat, the surface has nothing to catch underfoot. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. It suits calmer, restful rooms, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. Expect it to wear in nicely across calmer, restful rooms.

Installation Advice
3-Strip 14 mm Beech Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
