Grasmere Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Hand-finished oak shows a broad, characterful figure in a brown tone, with strong rustic character from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, and there's a full 4 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 1.9 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. All in all, a practical floor that should wear in rather than out.

Installation Advice
Grasmere Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
