Brushed oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft brown, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. Brushing helps everyday scuffs vanish into the grain. A protective matt lacquer on a real-wood veneer over a stable base means footprints barely show on the matt surface, while the core carries a genuine wood face on a steady base. At 2.0 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. Put together, it's a tough surface on a steady core that should take years of use without complaint.

Installation Advice
Oak Saffron Plank is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
