Oak Sesame Plank Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak has an open, flowing grain, with clear movement board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A soft, matt oiled finish on a real-wood veneer over a stable base means the colour mellows a little with daily use, while the core puts real timber on top over a stable backing. At 2.0 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. Well suited to busy kitchens and hallways, and underfloor heating is no problem. That stability is the real argument for it over a solid floor.

Installation Advice
Oak Sesame Plank is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
