Hard Maple Toronto Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Maple carries a subtle, close grain in a warm light cast, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A soft satin lacquer means it carries a soft, low sheen between matt and gloss, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.4 m long, they cover ground quickly when laying. It suits calmer, restful rooms, hard enough to resist dents from furniture and daily footfall. That durability is what makes it sensible for calmer, restful rooms.

Installation Advice

Hard Maple Toronto is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.

Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
