Textured oak shows an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A protective matt lacquer over a stable engineered core means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, while the core holds its line through winter heating and summer damp. Installation Advice
Herringbone Click Oak Transparent Adagio is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
