Textured oak shows a broad, characterful figure, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A protective matt lacquer over a stable engineered core means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, while the core stays put as the seasons change instead of cupping or gapping. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space.

Installation Advice
Herringbone T/g Oak Pale White Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
