Herringbone T/g Oak Transparent Animoso Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak carries a broad, characterful figure, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Underfoot there's a light texture rather than a flat, sanded face. A protective matt lacquer means the seal takes the brunt of daily traffic, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space. On balance, a sensible floor built for everyday use.

Installation Advice
Herringbone T/g Oak Transparent Animoso is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
