Isla Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft golden, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. Across the level surface the grain reads clearly. A protective matt lacquer means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, and there's a full 3 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Isla Oak is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
