3-Strip 14 mm Maple Can. Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth maple carries a subtle, close grain, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. Sanded flat, the surface has nothing to catch underfoot. A protective matt lacquer means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. Well suited to calmer, restful rooms, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. It should settle into calmer, restful rooms and stay looking right for years.

Installation Advice
3-Strip 14 mm Maple Can. Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
