Oak Rustikal Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1396114) Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Wide oak has an open, flowing grain, a soft light brown, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and there's a full 25 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. It suits open-plan living, and underfloor heating is no problem. It's an easy fit for open-plan living and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Oak Rustikal Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1396114) is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
