Oak Select Engineered Hardwood Flooring
In a light brown cast, wide oak shows an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, and its 36 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.2 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. On balance, a sensible floor built for everyday use.

Installation Advice
Oak Select is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
