Oak Rustikal Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1518249) Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Oak has an open, flowing grain, a soft light brown, with strong rustic character from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish on a stable engineered core means the sheen stays low and matt rather than glossy, while the core sits flatter underfoot than a solid board through the seasons. Well suited to open-plan living, and it's happy over underfloor heating too. That stability is the real argument for it over a solid floor.

Installation Advice
Oak Rustikal Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1518249) is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
