Wide oak carries a broad, characterful figure in a light brown cast, with strong rustic character from board to board. Underfoot there's a light texture rather than a flat, sanded face. A protective matt lacquer means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, and there's a full 25 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, they suit a larger room. A practical choice for open-plan living, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. It should settle into open-plan living and stay looking right for years.

Oak Brushed Rustikal Classic 3025 Wide plank (1744854) is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
