Oak Buckskin Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Sculpted oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft white, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Hand-scraping gives an older, hand-made look. A soft, matt oiled finish means the colour mellows a little with daily use, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 1.9 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain. Clicking together over underlay without glue. All in all, a practical floor that should wear in rather than out.

Installation Advice
Oak Buckskin is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
