Oak Chianti Light-whitewashed Character Basic 11-5 Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Oak shows an open, flowing grain in a light brown tone, with strong rustic character from board to board. A pale, white-washed finish over a stable engineered core means the surface is sealed but stays light, while the core sits flatter underfoot than a solid board through the seasons. At 2.2 m long, they cover ground quickly when laying. The result is a floor built to be walked on, not tiptoed around.

Installation Advice
Oak Chianti Light-whitewashed Character Basic 11-5 is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
