Oak Chianti Natural Character Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1748899) Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak has an open, flowing grain, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. Raised grain adds a little grip underfoot. A soft, matt oiled finish means the sheen stays low and matt rather than glossy, and there's a full 25 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. It works well in open-plan living, and it's happy over underfloor heating too. Expect it to wear in nicely across open-plan living.

Oak Chianti Natural Character Basic 11-5 Wide plank (1748899) is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
