Oak Dim Engineered Hardwood Flooring
In an earth grey cast, brushed oak shows a broad, characterful figure, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. Its 3.5 mm wear layer means there's plenty of surface to wear before any refinishing. At 2.4 m long, they suit a larger room. Firm enough not to mark under chair legs and dropped pans. All in all, a practical floor that should wear in rather than out.

Installation Advice
Oak Dim is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
