Textured oak has a broad, characterful figure, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Underneath, it is built up in cross-layers for stability. At 2.4 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. It suits calmer, restful rooms, and it's happy over underfloor heating too. The steady core is what lets it cope where solid boards would struggle.

Installation Advice
Oak Dublin Ultra Matt is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
