Textured oak carries an open, flowing grain in a grey cast, with clear movement board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space. A practical choice for period rooms, and it's happy over underfloor heating too. It's an easy fit for period rooms and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Oak Herringbone Cc Vintage White is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
