Oak Herringbone Cd Smoked Dark Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak shows a broad, characterful figure in a dark tone, with clear movement board to board. A brushed surface has a more traditional, worked look. A soft, matt oiled finish means the sheen stays low and matt rather than glossy, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. A herringbone pattern draws the eye and works in both period and modern rooms. All in all, a practical floor that should wear in rather than out.

Installation Advice
Oak Herringbone Cd Smoked Dark is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
