Oak Herringbone Cd Vintage Smoked Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak carries an open, flowing grain in a brown cast, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish means the colour mellows a little with daily use, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space. It works well in period rooms, and underfloor heating is no problem. Expect it to wear in nicely across period rooms.

Installation Advice
Oak Herringbone Cd Vintage Smoked is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
