Oak Malbec Light-whitewashed Rustikal Basic 11-5 Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Oak has an open, flowing grain, a soft light brown, with strong rustic character from board to board. A pale, white-washed finish on a stable engineered core means it holds the pale tone rather than letting the wood yellow, and its 25 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.2 m long, long runs draw the eye down the room. It adds up to a hard-wearing floor on a core that stays put, the kind that takes daily use in its stride.

Installation Advice
Oak Malbec Light-whitewashed Rustikal Basic 11-5 is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
