Oak Ovis Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak shows a broad, characterful figure in a warm light tone, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish means the sheen stays low and matt rather than glossy, and there's a full 2.6 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.3 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. Clicking together over underlay without glue. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Oak Ovis is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
