Oak Portofino Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft white, with strong rustic character from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means spills and scuffs wipe straight off the sealed surface, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.4 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. Tough enough to shrug off chair legs and dropped pans.

Installation Advice
Oak Portofino is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
