Oak Rime Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak carries a broad, characterful figure in a white cast, with strong rustic character from board to board. A brushed surface has a more traditional, worked look. A protective matt lacquer means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.4 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Oak Rime is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
