Oak SchöNbrunn Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak carries an open, flowing grain, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Brushing helps everyday scuffs vanish into the grain. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.4 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain.

Installation Advice
Oak SchöNbrunn is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
