Oak Sensus Acorn Character Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Wide oak carries a broad, characterful figure in a brown cast, with strong rustic character from board to board. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means footprints barely show on the matt surface, and there's a full 36 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain. The result is a floor built to be walked on, not tiptoed around.

Installation Advice
Oak Sensus Acorn Character is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
