Oak Sevede Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Hand-finished oak carries an open, flowing grain in an amber brown cast, with clear movement board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish on a stable engineered core means the colour mellows a little with daily use, while the core stays put as the seasons change instead of cupping or gapping. At 2.4 m long, they suit a larger room. Its stable core makes it a safer choice than solid wood where damp or heat come into play.

Installation Advice
Oak Sevede is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
