Oak Straw Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Hand-finished oak shows a broad, characterful figure, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 1.9 m long, they cover ground quickly when laying. A practical choice for busy kitchens and hallways, and it can go down over underfloor heating. It's an easy fit for busy kitchens and hallways and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Oak Straw is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
