Oak Studio Ab Matt Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak has a broad, characterful figure, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. A herringbone pattern draws the eye and works in both period and modern rooms. Well suited to calmer, restful rooms, hard enough to take chair legs and dropped pans. It's the kind of floor that earns its place in calmer, restful rooms and holds up over time.

Installation Advice
Oak Studio Ab Matt is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
