Oak Studio Cd Hb Oiled Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak has an open, flowing grain, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Across the level surface the grain reads clearly. A soft, matt oiled finish means the sheen stays low and matt rather than glossy, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. Laid in herringbone, the boards form a classic angled pattern that rewards a larger space. Well suited to period rooms, and it's happy over underfloor heating too. It should settle into period rooms and stay looking right for years.

Installation Advice
Oak Studio Cd Hb Oiled is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
