3-Strip 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak carries an open, flowing grain, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. Sanded flat, the surface has nothing to catch underfoot. A protective matt lacquer over a stable engineered core means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.2 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. Put together, it's a tough surface on a steady core that should take years of use without complaint.

Installation Advice
3-Strip 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
