Oak Unico Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Sculpted oak has a broad, characterful figure, a soft brown, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Knocks and dents blend into the hand-worked surface. A soft, matt oiled finish over a stable engineered core means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot, while the core stays put as the seasons change instead of cupping or gapping. Firm enough not to mark under chair legs and dropped pans.

Installation Advice
Oak Unico is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
