Oak Urban Brown Strip Engineered Hardwood Flooring
In a light brown cast, textured oak shows an open, flowing grain, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Underfoot there's a light texture rather than a flat, sanded face. Its 3.5 mm wear layer means there's plenty of surface to wear before any refinishing. At 2.4 m long, they suit a larger room. Tough enough to shrug off chair legs and dropped pans. It's a straightforward, hard-working floor at heart.

Installation Advice
Oak Urban Brown Strip is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
