Oak Tanami Smoked Character Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Oak shows a broad, characterful figure in a brown tone, with the full range of natural marks from board to board. A soft, matt oiled finish means it sits in the grain and still feels like timber underfoot. At 2.2 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. It suits open-plan living, and it can go down over underfloor heating. It should settle into open-plan living and stay looking right for years.

Installation Advice
Oak Tanami Smoked Character is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
