Plank 138 Oak Transparent Animoso Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak carries an open, flowing grain, with clear movement board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A protective matt lacquer over a stable engineered core means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, while the core won't cup or gap the way a solid board can. At 2.2 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain. Put together, it's a tough surface on a steady core that should take years of use without complaint.

Installation Advice
Plank 138 Oak Transparent Animoso is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
