Plank 138 Oak Transparent Semi Smoked Animoso Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak carries a broad, characterful figure, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Brushing lifts the grain, so the figure stands out clearly. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, they cover ground quickly when laying. The result is a floor built to be walked on, not tiptoed around.

Installation Advice
Plank 138 Oak Transparent Semi Smoked Animoso is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
