Plank 138 Oak Transparent Smoked Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak shows an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Underfoot there's a light texture rather than a flat, sanded face. A protective matt lacquer means a wipe with a damp mop is about all it asks, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.2 m long, they suit a larger room. It suits calmer, restful rooms, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. It's an easy fit for calmer, restful rooms and should age well there.

Installation Advice
Plank 138 Oak Transparent Smoked Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
