Plank 181 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak carries an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Across the level surface the grain reads clearly. A protective matt lacquer means footprints barely show on the matt surface, and its 3.5 mm wear layer can be sanded back rather than replaced. At 2.2 m long, fewer end joints break up the floor. A practical choice for calmer, restful rooms, and it's rated to sit over underfloor heating. It should settle into calmer, restful rooms and stay looking right for years.

Installation Advice
Plank 181 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
