Plank 181 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak shows a broad, characterful figure, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. Raised grain adds a little grip underfoot. A protective matt lacquer means footprints barely show on the matt surface, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, they cover ground quickly when laying. Well suited to calmer, restful rooms, and underfloor heating is no problem. It should settle into calmer, restful rooms and stay looking right for years.

Installation Advice
Plank 181 14 mm Oak Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
