Plank 181 14 mm Oak White Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Brushed oak has a broad, characterful figure, with a calm, even grade from board to board. Raised grain adds a little grip underfoot. Below the surface, it is built up in cross-layers for stability. At 2.2 m long, the room reads calmer with fewer lines across it. Its stable core makes it a safer choice than solid wood where damp or heat come into play.

Installation Advice
Plank 181 14 mm Oak White Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
