Plank 181 Oak Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Smooth oak carries an open, flowing grain, with a calm, even grade from board to board. A protective matt lacquer on a stable engineered core means spills and scuffs wipe straight off the sealed surface, and the 2.7 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.2 m long, there are fewer breaks to interrupt the grain. A practical choice for calmer, restful rooms, and it can go down over underfloor heating. The result is a floor built to be walked on, not tiptoed around.

Installation Advice
Plank 181 Oak Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
