Plank Castle Oak Alamo Vivo Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Textured oak shows an open, flowing grain, with plenty of knots and colour variation from board to board. Brushing helps everyday scuffs vanish into the grain. A protective matt lacquer means the surface shrugs off the odd splash, and there's a full 3.5 mm of wear layer to sand back before any refinish. At 2.2 m long, they suit a larger room. All in all, a practical floor that should wear in rather than out.

Installation Advice
Plank Castle Oak Alamo Vivo is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
