Plank Castle Oak Transparent Andante Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Level oak has an open, flowing grain, with subtle, consistent tone from board to board. A protective matt lacquer means scuffs are easy to miss across the low sheen, and the 3.5 mm wear layer leaves room to refinish rather than replace. At 2.2 m long, they suit a larger room. Well suited to calmer, restful rooms, and underfloor heating is no problem.

Installation Advice
Plank Castle Oak Transparent Andante is a real-wood engineered floor that can be floated over underlay or fully bonded to the subfloor, depending on the room and build-up. For a flawless, long-lasting finish we recommend professional fitting by our experienced Edinburgh joiners.
- Acclimatise the boards in the room for 48-72 hours before fitting
- Check the subfloor is clean, dry, level and moisture-tested
- Float over a quality underlay, or bond with the correct flexible adhesive
- Leave the recommended expansion gap around the perimeter
- Finish neatly with matching beading, scotia or thresholds
